Aurelia Elizabeth "Liz" Harris died at home in Anchorage, Alaska, on Jan. 17, 2019, age 63, after a lengthy illness.

Liz was raised in Anchorage and studied to be a tile artist. Liz enjoyed creating art that brought happiness and beauty to the world. Liz found much beauty in life, as well as humor and kindness.

Liz is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth El Israel; father, Thomas C. Harris; and her older brother, Paul. She is survived by her friend and partner, Carl Dedmond; brothers, Robert, Gene and Cory; and sisters, Anna and Katy. Liz is survived by her son, Daniel (Jennifer) Overbay; and grandson, Everett; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Home Well Senior Care, Providence Hospice and the Southcentral Foundation for their kind help in caring for Liz at home.

At her request, a funeral service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice.
