Carlos Victa Salugao

Carlos "Charlie" Victa Salugao, 58, joined our Creator in peace on December 26, 2016 (Monday, 2:50pm) after receiving the sacrament of the anointment of the sick, at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Charlie was born on November 4, 1958 in Kawit, Cavite, Philippines to the late Mr. Virgilio Baytan Salugao and the late Elisa Arquiza Victa. He moved to Kodiak, Alaska in 1995. He leaves to cherish his memories, his son John Carlo A. Salugao with his wife Winiefreda and children Arla Jean, Van, Wayne and Cassandra; daughter Elizabeth L. Salugao; and adopted daughters Analyn A. Salugao with partner Melvars and Pamela A. Salugao with children Mikaela, Carn Elisa Mae and Sean Warren. He will always be fondly remembered by his siblings and their respective families Estrellita V. Salugao of Carson, California, USA; Evelyn S. Bay of Pililla, Rizal, Philippines; Divina S. dela Cruz of Jacksonville, Florida, USA; Efren V. Salugao of Sewell, New Jersey, USA; Virgilio V. Salugao Jr. of Kodiak, Alaska, USA; Violeta S. Clifton of Sacramento, California, USA; Angelina S. del Rosario of Pittsburgh, California, USA; Bernadette V. Salugao of Kawit, Cavite, Philippines; Ferdinand V. Salugao of Kodiak, Alaska, USA; Virnilito N. Salugao of Carson, California, USA; and Virgilio N. Salugao III of Kawit, Cavite, Philippines. The bereaved family of Charlie wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to Dr. Ryan McGhan, doctors, nurses and other staff members of Providence Alaska Medical Center and to Mr. Victoriano Saculles. The funeral services and viewing will be held on January 12, 2017 (Thursday, 1-5 pm) at the chapel of the Cremation Society of Alaska located at 7216 Lake Otis Parkway, Anchorage, Alaska.
