Margaret Jeane Olson

In memory of our loved one, Margaret "Marge" Olson, 84 years old, born on Aug. 19, 1935, passed away on April 12, 2020, in her home in Anchorage, Alaska. Marge Olson was born to Rudolph Lubsen and Mayona Johnson in Ames, Iowa; she was the older sister of Janet Lubsen Craft. On Dec. 31, 1954, she married Lee Olson and together they raised three children: Karen, Carol and David. Throughout her life Marge was known among her different communities for her contributions and hard work. Her most notable passion was all things of arts and crafts. She was known for her annual holiday Christmas trees, the unique arts and crafts at her yearly bazaar booths, her seamstress skills, doll makings, intricate quilts and wall hangings, and the list goes on and on. Throughout her life, her hobbies would change but her dedication remained the same. She was a unique lady and will be greatly missed by many people. Marge is survived by her two daughters, Karen and Carol; her four grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Jasmine and Kristyn; and three great-grandchildren, Breckan, Mia and Gabriel.
