Nancy Lyn Sanchez-Morfin

Nancy Lyn Sanchez-Morfin, 61, passed peacefully in her sleep on March 30, 2023 in Anchorage, Alaska with her children by her side. Nancy was born to Ivan and Leta Mae Moser on July 17, 1962 in Everett, Washington. Nancy was an adventurous, free spirited person who was very stubborn and outspoken. She met Dave Jensen in the summer of 1979 in Everett, where she grew up. They married shortly after and had David in 1980 and moved to Anchorage in 1981. They had Laura two years after moving to Alaska. Nancy enjoyed trout fishing in Everett and later salmon fishing in Alaska with her family. She enjoyed horror movies and always had a joke to tell. She loved moving and meeting new people, many who became life long friends. She was a very trusting person who always gave people the benefit of the doubt. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and spoiled them every chance she got. She spent as much time with her grandchildren as she could watching them grow and making wonderful memories with them. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Ivan and Leta Mae. She is survived by her son David (Wendy) and daughter Laura. Her siblings: Diane, Sonjia, Robert, Daniel, Donald, Mary and Marie. She leaves behind her grandchildren: Brianna, Angelina, Fransisco, Gary, Kaylee, Haelynn, Karissa and great-granddaughters Violet and Catali’na.
