Patricia Kruger

February 29th, 1940 - February 6th, 2022

February 29th, 1940 - February 6th, 2022

Lifelong Alaskan Patricia "Pat" Kruger passed away on Feb. 6, 2022, surrounded by her family. Pat was the only baby born in Los Angeles, Calif., on Feb. 29, 1940. Because it was a leap year, this made her 20 years young. And she never let us forget it. Pat was married to the love of her life, Warren, for over 50 years. They did everything together and loved each other to the moon and back. They are now together again forever. Pat and her husband Warren were general contractors. They worked all over the state of Alaska, putting up buildings from Sitka to Scammon Bay, Fort Yukon to Pilots Point. Pat also loved real estate and worked as broker, associate broker and a teacher in real estate for over 40 years. She was proud to receive her Emeritus Award from the Alaska Board of Realtors. She is survived by her children, Orpha (Bill) Carlson, Warren Kruger Jr., Chris (Judy) Kruger, Wayne Kruger, Richard (Tina) Kruger, Ramona (Randy) Stiles, Phyllis Kruger, Diana (Dale) Johnson and Ginger Morgan; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a very large extended family and friends. Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Warren; parents, Blodwyn and Harry Barnum; brothers, Harry and Bill Barnum; sister, Diane Holman; and daughters, Laurie Harris and Melody Ramirez. Funeral Services will be held on May 14, 2022, at 1 p.m., at the First Christian Church, 3031 Latouche Street in Anchorage, Alaska, with reception to follow.
