Bryan Perry Aucremanne
3 février 1955 - 17 décembre 2025
3 février 1955 - 17 décembre 2025
Bryan Perry Aucremanne, 70, of Palmer, Alaska, passed away December 17, 2025, after battling cancer and its side effects. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia where he learned to love the outdoors through camping with his cousin Dan and his Uncle Joe, the Boy Scout leader. The Winter Freeze Camp Out prepared him for the Alaskan weather. He continued exploring West Virginia and became proficient in rock climbing at Seneca Rocks.
Bryan joined the Navy and was stationed at Pensacola, Florida in the radar division. Afterwards he worked at the family glass factory business, Eagle Convex Glass Company. The company was started by his grandfather, Fernand Francois Aucremanne, a Belgian immigrant who fled with his wife and son during the German invasion of WWI into Belgium. In a twist of fate, they missed the boat to England. However, they came to America, settled in West Virginia and this was the beginning of Bryan’s story.
After moving to North Carolina, he became a licensed Land Survey Instrument Operator and Engineer Assistant. He met his future wife, Rosemary Alurac there. They moved to Alaska in 1990 to be closer to her family. Bryan continued as a Land Survey Instrument Operator. He told many stories about his time working on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Once Rosemary became ill, Bryan became her primary care giver for the last years of her life. She passed away on October 25, 2021.
Bryan is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Alurac, his sister Mary Margaret Aucremanne Post, and his parents Camille E. And Marion Perry Aucremanne.
His living relatives include two sisters, two brothers, 3 sons, 1 daughter, and their children, 5 nieces, 5 nephews, 15 great-nieces and great-nephews, and 46 cousins.
There will be a memorial service and mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 5:30pm. Thursday, June 4, 2026. All are invited.
Bryan’s and Rosemary’s ashes will be interred at Fort Richardson Military Cemetery at 10am, Friday, June 5, 2026.
A prayer in remembrance of the Perry family
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your fields, And until we meet again,
May God keep you in the hollow of His hand.

Comment avez-vous rencontré Bryan?
I met Bryan in Clarksburg when I was 13 on my cousin’s front porch of her house next to his. We remained close friends until his death. He inspired me to be closer to God and to write poetry. I will always love and miss you, my dearest friend. ❤️🩹
