July 19th, 1958 - December 1st, 2025
Terry D. Sampley died on Dec. 1, 2025, after a short battle with advanced metastaticcolon cancer. After his diagnosis, Terry chose the brave and fearless path to not dochemotherapy or any other conventional treatments since they would not cure him andhe would just be miserable during the brief time they would give. Terry did try manyunsuccessful alternative medicines, refusing to give up even after a complete colonblockage in September. He chose to live his life and death on his terms, the same wayhe lived the entirety of his life, without fear and doubt with confidence that all would beok. Terry shared a wonderful last summer with family and friends, doing many of thethings he loved: fishing, BBQing, and visiting the range with many laughs, love, and fun.Terry was a born leader, teacher, mentor, friend, and protector to the very end. Hetaught many family members and colleagues all over the country, iron work, and craneoperation. He believed in sharing the knowledge and skill he learned throughout his lifewith others so that those skills would not be lost. Terry will be forever missed by thosethat knew and loved him.
