Marie Elizabeth Jones

Marie Elizabeth Jones, age 84, passed away on Nov. 5, 2020, at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. She was born in Larsen Bay, Alaska, on May 13, 1936. She lived in both Larsen Bay and Karluk until moving to Kodiak in 1964 and Anchorage from 1987 to present. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and gathering rocks from her beach combing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Roy Lee Jones Sr. She is survived by her children, Roy Lee Jones Jr., Patricia Ann Mahoney, John Edward Jones, Charles Wesley Jones and Susan Lee Lind; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, William and Robert Anderson; sister, Martha Keegan; and her cousin, whom she was very close to, William Jager.
