Bruce Edward Brown, 65, passed away September 15, 2022 at his residence in Anchorage.Services will be held from 2-4 pm Saturday September 24, 2022 at the Cremation Society of Alaska, 1306 E 74th Avenue, Anchorage.Bruce was born July 23, 1957 in Seattle, Washington. Bruce was active in junior basketball in high school and college. He moved to Alaska in 1983 to begin a new adventure with his sister. He lived and fished in Dutch Harbor. He worked with the Fishing Company of Alaska until 2010Bruce enjoyed all things basketball.His family wrote: “Bruce was a good uncle to his niece and nephew and loved all dogs.”Bruce is survived by his sister, Cynthia Brown-Williams and brother-in-law, Robbie Williams of Anchorage.He is preceded in death by his father, Edward L Brown (1982) and mother, Betty E Brown (1977).Memorials can be made in Bruce’s memory to the MS Society of Alaska.

¿Cómo conociste a Bruce?

I met Bruce through my eldest sister Donna, he was a cool brother to have as a teenager. He would use her good platters to make us nachos! And then tell me "don't tell her chickadee, she's gonna be pissed!" Lol!! I would say " I won't." He introduced me to the movie Pulp Fiction, and would blaze and then play Saga with me.. lol! Bruce would always be laying out in the sun all red! Come in all blistered up!! Omg!! He was cool! I will miss you brother! May you rest in peace. Dawn Leyva
