Daniel Lee DuBois

Palmer resident, Daniel Lee DuBois, 66 passed away July 20, 2021 at Providence Alaska Medical Center, Anchorage. Daniel was born December 25, 1954 in Logansport, Indiana. He graduated from Culver Community High School in Culver, Indiana in 1975. Daniel married Marsha Reinholt in May, 1976 in Monterey, Indiana. The family has made their home in Palmer, Alaska since 1987. Daniel was employed with Alaska Nabors Drilling from 1984-2014, retiring after 20 years. Daniel enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, and drinking beer. He is survived by his wife, Marsha DuBois of Palmer; son, Eric DuBois of Wasilla; daughter, Danielle Hodgson of Palmer; grandsons, Chandler Jones, Wasilla, Donavin and Dylan Hodgson, both of Palmer; granddaughter, Kiersten DuBois of Wasilla; two brothers, Donald DuBois of Arizona and Jim DuBois of Wisconsin; and two sister, DeYonne Jenkins of Texas and Jody Goodale of Florida. Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Joseph; mother, Madonna; three sisters, Wanda Dockendorf, Marcie Williamson and Paula Leighton; and one brother, David DuBois. Memorial donations can be made in Daniel’s memory to the American Cancer Society or MS Foundation.
