Patti Lynn Stone

On Jan. 20, 2023, we lost our beloved wife and mother Patti Lynn Stone, age 71, of Eagle River, Alaska. Patti was born on Sept. 28, 1951, to John and Beverly Stone of Hibbing, Minn. She studied at St. Cloud State and earned her associates degree to become a medical lab technician. She met the love of her life, Marshall, on a trip to Alaska with a friend. Alaska is where Patti and Marshall married, and eventually planted roots and started a family. Patti lived a beautiful life raising her children, working at Alaska Regional Hospital until retirement in 2017, then enjoying being a Nana to her grandchildren. She was a skilled gardener and a lover of all animals, but loved her family most of all. Patti was preceded in death by her mother and father; brothers, Bob and Vaughn; and sister, Wanda. She leaves behind her husband of 40 years, James Marshall Kennon; son, Brad Kennon and wife Chelsea; daughter, Shelley Ewing and husband Josh; brother, Greg Stone; and many more extended family members. Her grandchildren were the light of her life: Elijah, Breydan, Brynlee, Mia and Wesley. She is dearly missed by all who had the joy of knowing her. A private family Celebration of Life will take place, per Patti's wishes.
