How did you meet Donna?

I met Donna at People's Bible Church in 1974. She was very good friends with Pastors wife Linda Higdon. I was a single Mom to Terry, and he was only 6 months old Donna was a very sweet Christian friend and mentor. She helped me as an 18 year old trying to be a good mother. She was always joyful, fun-loving. & happy. Chad & Terry were playmates, learning how to share & play together. She was my first bridesmaid when I married Bart Dempsey on September 13, 1975. And then we kind of drifted apart & lost contact in the busyness of raising a family. I knew that she had remarried & moved to Alaska. It was ironic that she married Les Youngs. His parents & grandparents were from Kalamo, where Bart & I grew up, & we used to play with his 2 older brothers, Reo & Harry. I received a Christmas letter from her a few years back, but I wasn't good at writing or answering letters, though I did think of Donna often. I was trying to find out how to contact Donna on the Internet to invite her to our 50th Anniversary party that our children are having for us... and Sadly, I just now found out that she passed almost 5 years ago. Don't put off until tomorrow, what you need to do today!! I wish I would have written to her long ago. I do have some very fond memories of good times with her. I'm so sorry for you, her family for your loss. She will be forever missed, but will live on in your wonderful memories ❤️❤️🙏🙏 Karen (Herman) Dempsey 517 231-6783 175 N SHAYTOWN RD VERMONTVILLE, MI 49096
