Steve Kroeker

Steve Kroeker, 41, died suddenly on September 2, 2014, at his home in Anchorage, Alaska. Steve was born in Worthington, Minnesota on December 8, 1972 to Jerry and Donna (Davis) Kroeker. He grew up in Southwestern Virginia; graduating from Lee High School in Jonesville, VA. In 1991, Steve moved to Alaska with his parents. He was employed with the Fritz Companies and FedEx for many years. Some of his many interests included music, art and technology. Steve enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and sharing good laughs with those that he loved. He was a gentle and kind hearted man with a hug and encouraging words for those whom he saw needed it. His quiet strength, infectious laughter and his wise insight will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Steve is survived by his parents, Jerry and Donna Kroeker of Wasilla, AK; siblings, Mike (Jeanne)Kroeker of New London, MN, Dale (Rhenda) Kroeker of Jonesville, VA, Karen Kroeker of Wasilla, AK and Jeanette (Jason) Breding of Wasilla, AK; sister-in-law, Hiedi (Kroeker) Miller; eight nieces and three nephews; as well as his best friend, Jessica; and many other dear friends.
