Burdette Joseph Schrock

B . J Schrock was born 1932 in Sutton, Nebraska . Jay was wonderful Son, husband, friend ,father, in-law and stepfather . At the age of 18 Jay Joined and served in the US Air Force as a senior air police officer. Jay served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force in 1954. Jay then went to college in Sacramento CA graduating with a civil engineer degree. After graduating Jay wanted to be a police officer. Jay went to apply for police officer position For Sacramento CA . Instead he ended up applying for a Sacramento County waterworks position and was hired on. Jay worked for Sacramento waterworks for many years. Jay then went to work for a few pipe companies. Jay then met and married his beautiful wife Marion Schrock and they moved to Lakehead CA.( Mount Shasta ) Jay started his own company called JSC engineering (Jay Schrock Consulting ). As an expert witness. Jay and his wife Marion traveled the world together to other country’s rehabbing pipelines. Advising on how to rehab current failing pipeline systems. He traveled to Alaska several times. Jay earned many awards as well as the inheriting the nick name Mr. Rehab. Jay wrote a book that was published about the rehabilitation of pipelines many years ago. Jay retired at 82 moved to Cottonwood Arizona. Jay divorced after 34 years of marriage. For health reasons Jay moved to Anchorage in 2020 to be close to Robin and Toney . B.J Schrock was the last Schrock in his family tree. He lived to 90 years of age. Jay lived life fully active until the last 7 months of his 90 years on this planet. Jay did leave behind his stepdaughter & friend Robin and his step son-in-law & friend Toney . We will miss him greatly.
