Cori retired from the State of Alaska where she worked in the Department of Transportation for over 20 years, this was after her employment with Joann Craft Stores. Before Cori joined the workforce outside the home, she was a homemaker, raising her 4 children. Cori had many hobbies that included sewing, knitting, and, crochet among many others. Some of her favorite activities were watching her grandchildren play sports and perform on stage, enjoying family time especially at Big Lake, sitting in the sun reading a book with her dog Pudgy by her side, Cori was also an avid card and bunko player.
Cori was a huge fan of Betty Boop and over the years had acquired quite a collection. There is no doubt that she will be remembered for her huge heart, always putting others above herself regardless of her own trials. As much love as she had for everyone around her, she always held a special place for each one of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. These were her greatest prize on Earth. She was an amazing mother and grandmother dedicating her life to her family. The individual time she gave to each of her grandchildren truly made them feel special.
Over the last few years Cori became guardian to her good friend Linda. The time she spent with Linda was incredibly special to Cori, even sharing that time with some of her own family.
Due to current world conditions Coris family feels that she would prefer not having a public service in order to protect all those whom she loved. Her family will be preparing a celebration of life video clip to share as a remembrance for you to keep with you always.
