Sherri Jordan of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018. Born and raised in Southern Japan, Sherri spent the majority of her life near Carmel, Calif., with her husband, Bruce Jordan, a U.S. Naval Officer. Sherri moved to Alaska 18 years ago to be near her extended family. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening. Famous for her cooking and baking, she fed all those around her. She put her sewing skills to work and donated many quilts to benefit the senior center. Sherri embodied contentment, fully enjoying the simple things in life. She was generous in all ways, but particularly with her heart. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Should you wish to celebrate Sherri's life, please consider a donation to the Anchorage Senior Center, where she shared meaningful time and fellowship.
