Tillie C. Gray

Tillie Gray, born May 25,1926 passed away on July 27, 2022. Tillie was born on a farm in North Dakota. Tillie and her husband Wally moved to Alaska in 1970 where she worked on the pipeline, waitressed and was a bartender at the Polar Bar, Woodshed and 19 years at the American Legion, Post 1. She retired in 2008 at the age of 81. Tillie enjoyed playing golf, cribbage, traveling and socializing. Tillie is survived by her sister, Rosie Lowstein, two grandchildren, one great-grandson, Nephew, Larry Lowstein, other nephews, nieces, and many friends. There will be a celebration at the American Legion Post 1 on Sept. 11th at 4 pm in the Tillie Gray Room.
