Cody Daniel Robbins
November 13th, 1999 - January 18th, 2024
November 13th, 1999 - January 18th, 2024
Cody Daniel Robbins passed away in his home in Wasilla, Alaska on Thursday, January 18th, 2024.
Cody was the beloved father of his daughter Freya Rose Robbins, age 3; and husband to Molly Caputo. He also leaves behind his sister Alexis Robbins and nephew Ryker Henslee; stepfather Jake Stotler, grandparents Dan and Marie Shilling, and Lonnie and Lyla Brown, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Cody was preceded in death by his mother Christy Shilling, father Rupert Robbins, and Grandmother Andrea Shilling.
He was born in Anchorage, Alaska on November 13,1999. He was the youngest of two children, his sister Alexis being two years older (and she wasn’t above beating that point in…). Cody lived in Alaska his whole life, with the exception of a few months when his family moved to Florida for some reason. Cody graduated from Colony High School in 2019.
Cody was a very fun-loving and goofy guy. He enjoyed spending time with his family, whether it was out on some adventure, or just hanging out around the house. He spent a lot of his childhood camping, hunting, and fishing with his family. He enjoyed riding ATVs, hunting, and fishing; as long as he didn’t have to be the one to clean the catch.
Later in life Cody worked a few different jobs, including commercial salmon fishing with his grandfather. He met his wife Molly at work, and later married her on September 25th, 2021. Together they raised their daughter Freya in Wasilla Alaska. After Freya was born, Cody spent a bit of time as a stay-at-home dad.
Cody was a very kind-hearted guy, and really enjoyed being goofy and making people laugh. He always had some crazy off-the-wall idea or some random funny story that he’d share with people, and he enjoyed playing pranks. He was a great companion to stay up playing video games with until the sun came up, or spending time having fun with family just goofing off or playing games.
Cody will be forever remembered, and always loved.
