Milano Camacho

Milano Camacho, 56, passed away February 9, 2023 at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage. Services will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Cremation Society of Alaska. Milano was born August 4, 1966 in Pohnpei, Micronesia. He grew up and attended the Saladak School. Milano married Rosihda Marques on February 15, 1986, they made their home in Pohnpei, Micronesia until moving to Fairbanks, Alaska on January 12, 2023. During the years of marriage, they were blessed with a daughter, son, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, three grandsons and two granddaughters. Milano worked as an electrician/line man supervisor with the Pohnpei Utility Corporation in the Federated States of Micronesia, retiring in 2016.He loved doing farm work, shooting guns, and collecting knives and machetes.His family wrote: “Milano was a kind-hearted person. He was willing to help those that needed help, very loving and very resilient. Despite any hardships, he was a person you can always count on.”Milano is survived by his wife, Rosihda Camacho; daughter, Milrose Camacho; son, Morgan Comacho; son-in-law, Justin Wilson; daughter-in-law, Vanessa Camacho; two granddaughters, Naeco Wilson and Octavia Camacho; and three grandsons, Jayvon Sardis, Kiyoshi Wilson, and Mohigan Camacho.He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Margarita Camacho, brother, Moses Camacho, and sister, Monaliza Camacho.
