Myrtle Louise Midkiff

Myrtle "Louise" Midkiff from Wasilla, Alaska, aged 78, passed on November 6, 2022. Louise was born on July 29, 1944 in Bald Knob, Arkansas. Surviving siblings are William C. and Walter "Roy" Midkiff. She was known for her love of music and enjoyed singing and playing the harpsichord at the Texarkana Jubilees as well as on a country radio show in Shreveport, Louisiana. Louise lived in a variety of places and doing a variety of jobs but most treasured was in Barrow helping women and children and volunteering at the Iditarod helping with the dogs. Louise received her Bachelors of Arts in Justice in 1984 at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and worked in that field for many years. She enjoyed sharing her talents and wisdom with all. Louise was a steadfast believer in the gospel and truly was a daughter of God.
