Parrish Todd Matter

Parrish 'Parry' Todd Matter , 52 passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Alaska Native Medical Center, Anchorage. Services will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, August 2 at the Cremation Society of Alaska, 7216 Lake Otis Pkwy Anchorage. His final resting place will be in California where his heart is with Jody and Dani. Parry was born June 22, 1962 in Bethel, Alaska. He graduated from Aniak High School in 1981. As a young boy, he lived on the beach in Aniak and loved fishing. To earn money he would sell the fish for a dollar. He worked in the family grocery store till 1989 when he moved to Anchorage. He worked for a few companies till he found a home at Flight Deck Pizza. He worked there for 19 years. He loved his Elvis music and movies. Parry leaves his mother, Delores; father, Joseph; sisters, Desiree and Alexandria and brother, Joseph, Jr.; three nieces and two nephews, one great niece; and four great nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Agnes E. Charles and Mary Elizabeth Matter, and grandfathers, Thurman Matter and Benjamin Charles.
