Robert Carr

Anchorage resident, Robert W. Carr, 62, passed away at home on August 17, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23rd at Anchorage City Church, 1301 W. 100th Ave. Robert was born on July 7th, 1951 to Robert and JoAnn Carr in Houston, Texas. Robert met his wife, Mary (Doyle), and they spent 21 wonderful years together before he passed. Bob loved being with his family and friends. He loved fishing and sports and is known for his very special brand of humor. Bob loved animals and nature and was a talented photographer. Bob was famous for his BBQ and loved serving and caring for others. He has been a philanthropist and volunteer in the community for 32 years. Bob was a long time employee of the Continental Honda family and was loved by his co-workers and friends. Bob is survived by his wife, Mary Carr; daughter, Melissa Carr and her family Keri, Timmy and Mitchell; his daughter, Heidi Carson; sons, Erik Morse and his family; and David Morse; father, Bob Carr Sr.; siblings, Linda, Debbie, Jo, Kathy, David and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
