Stan Louis Conaway

STANFORD (STAN) LOUIS CONAWAY December 3, 1966 June 29 2016 In the wee hours of the morning of June 29th, Stan unexpectedly died at the age of 49 of natural causes. His wife of 22 years, Rheba, was by his side. Stan was born December 3, 1966 to Gerald and Marilyn Conaway in Anchorage, Alaska. Stan grew up in the Roger's Park area of Anchorage, and he attended various elementary schools throughout the Anchorage area. He also went to Wendler Junior High School, East Anchorage High School, and he took various classes at APU. Stan dealt with daily stress through his many unique hobbies. Stan showed great talent and imagination, which he applied in every aspect of his daily life. He worked for Alaska Art and Frame for many years and was considered a part of the family there. In the last several years, Stan provided close care and support for his mother, showing his life-long commitment to family. People appreciated his unique perspective on life and he made many friends. Stan is proceeded in death by his father, Gerald, and survived by his wife, Rheba, mother Marilyn, and brother Reed. Stan will be greatly missed by family and friends.
