Terrie Jeanne Miller
August 15th, 1957 - January 26th, 2017
August 15th, 1957 - January 26th, 2017
Terrie Jeanne Miller was born August 15, 1957 to Marjorie and Edward Hall in San Bernardino, CA. An instinctively creative person, she was known to make a cake and decorate it with tooth picks to make sure the detail was right. When she received her first cake decorating kit, the game was stepped up 10 times. Her creativity didn't stop there it branched into painting, Christmas wrapping with lots of tape at times, and helping with party preparations. She had an infectious love of Christmas that everyone could see, the house would twinkle and things would move to catch your eye. Baking things to give to people was her way of showing she cared for people deeply. She would give to people she didn't know and say "If they are not who they are presenting, that is between them and god." If you made friends with her it was for life, an amazing woman even when contact was lost she would remember and try to find them. She was a dedicated Coast Guard Wife and partner to the end, and for a few years a Coast Guard Ombudsman to many young Coast Guard families, never saying no to someone needing advice, help or guidance. With her passing on January 26, 2017 she leaves behind and is waiting to greet her mother, daughter Michelle, loving husband Randy, sisters Kathy, Susan, Laurie, Dawn, brothers David, and Eddie, so many nieces, nephews, and friends far too many to name. A memorial service was held at the Baxter Road Bible Church Monday February 2, 2017 at 1200 to 2pm. Pastor Bob Mather ministered to those attending the service.
