Todd Roy Hanthorn

Todd Roy Hanthorn, 52, died June 29, 2016 at Horizon House. He was born in Killeen, Texas on June 13, 1964. He came to Alaska in 1965. He enlisted in the US Army in 1983. He worked for Alaska Northern Courier at the time of his death. He enjoyed gold panning, fishing and camping. He is preceded in death by his brother, Rick Hanthorn and his grandmother, Esther Buss. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Hanthorn of Anchorage; father, Glenn Hanthorn of Mesa, AZ; brother, Gary Hanthorn of Wasilla; sister, Debbie Thames and brother-in-law, Randy Thames both of Damascus, OR. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at 11:00 AM at 1st Christian Church, 3031 LaTouche. A private burial will be later at Angelus Memorial Park. The family has requested that Memorial Contributions be directed to Boys & Girls Club, 2300 W 36th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99517 OR to Boy Scouts, 3117 Patterson St., Anchorage, AK 99504.
