Robert Edward Lewis

On November 9, 2022, Robert Edward Lewis passed on to join his loved ones on the other side. Robertwas preceded in death by his father, William C Lewis, mother Norma J Nighswonger, brother Ron Lewisand sister Alice Lewis. Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dianna Lewis, his children Keith Lewisand Brigitte Lewis, 8 grandchildren, one great child, 7 sisters, 2 brothers, and numerous nephews andnieces. On November 6, 1951 Robert was born in Visalia CA. He met Dianna when they were in theirteens and married after he joined the Army in 1969. His career in aviation as a helicopter crew chieftook him through a tour in Vietnam. He was then stationed at Ft Hood TX where they had their firstchild Keith. He was transferred to Ft Richardson AK where they had their daughter Brigitte. Robert fellin love with Alaska and the family decided to make it their home after leaving the service. Robert was inthe National Guard for 8 years and also a Sgt. in the Police Reserve for 6.5 years. He loved to hunt andfish, but most of all he loved is family. Robert will be very much missed by all who knew him. In lieu offlowers, the family requests that people donate to his charity of choice, Boys Town.
