Shelby Rene' Bizaillon-Hamilton

Life long Alaska resident, Shelby Rene’ Bizaillon-Hamilton passed away Jan 5, 2026 at her temporary residence at St. Catherine’s Assisted living facility in Anchorage. She was born in Spokane, Washington on July 15, 1973, first child of Cheyenne Bizaillon and Cathy (now) Bessent. August 1975 her family relocated to Alaska. Shelby attended Taku, Huffman and Russian Jack Elementary schools, Clark Jr High and was a 1991 graduate of East High. Shelby was quite the collector of many things as Knick knacks, office do dads, friends and acquaintances! Shelby could make friends faster and had the ability to converse with anyone at any time. Her long list of customer service positions ended July 2023 when illness took the ability to work away from her. Dealing with diabetes for a few years and the addition of the diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma in October 2023 was the beginning of her deterioration and ultimately her death.   Shelby is survived by her daughter, Haylee Bizaillon, son, Chase Klossner, mother and step father Cathy and Mike Bessent and brother, Chris Bizaillon, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father.   Her family would like to thank the care givers and residents of St. Catherine’s and Dr. Eric Nguyen from Providence Family Medicine for the excellent care and compassion that was shown to Shelby and her family.   A celebration of life will be decided at a later date.
