He was outstanding in that capacity according to his co-workers, In 2013, he moved to Waianae, Hawaii where he enjoyed the island lifestyle of warm weather, going to the beach, fishing, hiking, and hanging out with his FamBam. In 2021, Jimmy moved back to Anchorage where he resided until his passing. Fishing was his all-time passion! Cuz, I'm not sure how to process that you're not on this earth anymore. I remember your smile the most. Honestly I don't remember a lot. We were never around each other a lot growing up. But I do remember, every time I saw you, you were smiling. I know you're smiling down on us now. I miss you cuz!!! Rest in paradise, and I know I'll see you again one day. Love you Jimmy.

Wherever Jim was, or who he was with, Jim was always the shining light in the room. There were very few times (if ever) where Jim didn’t have a big smile on his face. One of the things that I most admired about Jimmy was The fact that he was normally the smartest guy in the room. But he never had to prove that. In fact, he was the one that normally talked the least. You never got the feeling that he was just waiting his turn to talk. He was much more interested in listening than talking. That’s a true sign of not only a big heart but also brilliance. One of my favorite stories is when he and Steve took me salmon fishing in a creek outside of Anchorage. I’ve always thought of myself as being a pretty good fisherman. I could see the salmon just laying in the creek and no matter what I did I couldn’t get a bite. I tried everything I knew to do. After about 45 minutes, Jim, was quiet he’d been watching (I’m sure in frustration) knowing I was doing everything wrong. Finally he said uncle Rick, can I show you something? I said absolutely show me what I’m doing wrong. Needless to say after about 3 minutes, Jim hooked a fish and handed me back the rod so I could land it. The thing is, even though I felt like the nephew and he was the uncle he was so gracious and kind. Knowing he could out fish me any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I truly believe he got more enjoyment out of watching me catch fish. I still have the video of me landing that first salmon and his voice narrating with such joy. You could just hear how tickled he was. God please take care of our boy till we get there. We miss you so much Jim😢😢😢 Uncle Rick

Oh my little one!! Your Aunt Vic, as you called me, misses you so so much. From the minute you were born, you were so special to me. I think about you every day. So many memories over the years. I will love you always Jimmy.

My cousin was an amazing dude. When I was a kid I didn't see him much because we lived so far away but whenever he came to visit I was stoked! He'd make everyone around him laugh and it was always a good time. I remember we were all in Vegas for Grandpa's 75th birthday and we didn't have hardly any money. Jimmy took the cousins out for a night on the town and Amy and I were planning on going back to the room because we just didn't have the $$ but Jimmy said, "Hell no, you're coming with us!" He rented a limo, bought all the drinks, and we had an awesome time. That's just who he was. A generous, loving, amazing dude. Everyone loved being around him. I'm gonna miss you, buddy. I love you

Where does someone begin when talking about Jimmy. He was only 12 years old when I married his Uncle Rick. He was the cutest little kid and so sweet. The day of our wedding reception, he asked me if he could call me "Aunt Vicki" since I was now married to his Uncle Rick. I was so happy that he asked me. From that point on I always thought he was so special. He was so funny and so very loyal to those that he loved. He did everything in his power to make his mom and wife feel special. He loved them both so much. When he married Suzy, I knew he had chosen the perfect gal for him. She didn't take any garbage and she gave as well as she took from him. A match made in heaven. I love you so much Jimmy and I miss your silly laugh. We will meet again in heaven... Aunt Vicki

Son, you were my brightest, most happy and unlimited loving man there ever was! My heart aches for you in every moment of the day and night. In your 53 plus years of my life, our outstanding adventures together as Mom and Son will always be my most precious memories. Everyone, and there are so many, who tells me of great times of laughter and fun you shared together is a testament to the awesome man you were and the life you lived to the fullest, not too many limits. You always made me so proud of your way of getting things handled. Your generous and kind heart to others were some my most treasured moments. Turns out you WERE listening to me all those years ago. I can almost hear your giggles at me saying that. Oh Jimmy. My Love for you will always be. ALWAYS. FOREVER. I feel your spirit around me but sure wish I could hug you one more time, Son.❤️
