Julia Laura Stefanich

Julia Laura Stefanich passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at her home on Government Hill in Anchorage, Alaska. Julia was born on March 29, 1951, in Bozeman, Mont. She was raised in Anchorage and graduated from West High School in 1969. Julia was an intelligent, generous and caring woman. She will be remembered for her compassion for all including: family, friends, neighbors and animals in need. She would give anything she had in an instant to help others. Julia was an avid learner. She was interested in everything from astronomy to geology. She enjoyed reading and gardening at home. Julia is survived by her son, Erinn Stefanich; daughter, Marcell Mothershead; and wonderful grandson, Timothy Burbank. A remembrance for Julia will be held at Laura Pannone's house, located at 101 East Manor Avenue in Anchorage, on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m
