Edith Lula Bryan

Edith Lula Bryan (84) died peacefully on August 13, 2015 surrounded by those who loved her. She made her home with her daughters, Lois and Betty, in Alaska the last four years, where she enjoyed spending time with her Alaskan grandchildren and great grandchildren. She found comfort in the views of Alaskan wildlife; she especially enjoyed feeding and watching the birds. She was an avid reader and usually had a book nearby. Edith's passing leaves a giant void in our lives that can never be filled. She will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held on August 23rd, 2015. There will be food, music, and laughter. For those who wish to attend, please bring your memories and pictures to her residence, Sunday, at 2:00 p.m. Edith will be interred with her son, Robbie, at Echo Memorial Cemetery, Echo, Oregon, on September 13th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. To be followed by a gathering that will be determined at a future date. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Elvie "Shorty" DuVall, father, Joseph Martin, mother, Inez Taylor, sister, Lola and son, Robbie. She is survived by children, Darlene Bailey, Billie Shultz, Myron DuVall, Lois "Elena" Duvall, Cheryl Bernard, Georgieanna Martin and Baby Betty DuVall, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Donna and brother, George, and her friend, Doni Jean.
