James John Wiegert, Jr

James John Wiegert, Jr, 64, passed away peacefully February 15, 2022 at home in Anchorage, Alaska. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. James was born October 13, 1957 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a 1975 graduate of Nathan Hale High School in Milwaukee. James honorably served in the U.S. Air Force. He moved to Alaska in 1986 residing in Anchorage. For the last 25 years, Jim has been with his wife, Karen House raising three beautiful children, Haley Thompson (29), Jesse Wiegert (22) and Jaimee Wiegert (21). Jim and Karen have owned and operated Alaska Stuff Banana since 2011. Prior to the last ten years of operating the family-owned business, he was a spectacular mover and truck driver which he was most proud of and passionate about. Jim enjoyed playing with his dogs, Marlee and Rilee and spoiling his beautiful children with love and the main one, Laughter. “Dad always taught his ‘ABC’ and ‘Always be Careful.’” – Haley, Jesse and Jaimee He is survived by his wife, Karen, Anchorage and his three children, Haley Thompson, Jesse Wiegert and Jaimee Wiegert, all of Anchorage. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Wiegert, Sr and Tina Rose Wiegert.
